Cricket:England will face Ireland in a one-day international in Dublin next August. The two sides, who last met in Belfast last year with England narrow three-run victors, will clash at Clontarf CC on August 25th.
Warren Deutrom, chief executive of Cricket Ireland, is already looking forward to what should be a special occasion.
“Our matches against England are always special,” Duetrom said this morning. “We look forward to hosting household names including Andrew Strauss, Kevin Pietersen, Graeme Swann and not forgetting Eoin Morgan.”
The sides are already due to clash in March in the World Cup. The tournament will evoke memories of Ireland triumphs in previous World Cups and the side will look to cement their place amongst the top 10 nations in the World with further wins over Test nations.
