A number of Irish flights have been cancelled by Aer Lingus and Ryanair due to the latest industrial action by French air traffic controllers.
Aer Lingus flights has cancelled 10 flights, five departing from Dublin and five inward flights.
The cancelled flights are between Dublin, Lyon, Perpignan, Marseilles, Barcelona and Alicante.
Aer Lingus said passengers who have bookings on the cancelled flights can change for free to another date of travel, or request a full refund.
Ryanair cancelled 70 flights across Europe on Thursday including six from Ireland.
These flights are between Dublin, Murcia and Basel.
Ryanair customers can rebook their flights or apply for a refund on the Ryanair website.
Passengers flying with either airline, who have bookings to travel on Thursday, are asked to check the status of their flight before departing for the airport.
French ATC unions have announced further strikes on June 3rd, 4th and 5th.
Thursday’s action is the latest in a series by the controllers who are calling for better pay and conditions.
Ryanair's chief marketing officer Kenny Jacobs said the company had more 200,000 signatures in an online petition to get the EU to introduce measures to stop the French air traffic controllers going on strike.
“It will be a much bigger deal next week when there are three days of strikes planned,” he said.
" The countries most impacted are Ireland, the UK, Italy and Spain and it's just been going on too long.
