Aer Lingus and Ryanair were forced to cancel a number of flights on Wednesday over a strike of air traffic controllers and transport workers in France.
The 48-hour strike has resulted in Aer Lingus cancelling two named flights, EI 522 and EI 523 between Dublin and Paris.
A statement on the airline's website on Tuesday night said no other flights between Ireland and France would be affected, but it advised passengers to check flight information before departing for the airport.

— Aer Lingus (@AerLingus) April 7, 2015Ryanair has had to cancel more than 250 flights due to the strike, including 18 to and from Dublin and eight departing or arriving at Shannon Airport.

Both airlines have said that customers will be informed through available communications of any change to flight schedules.
Airlines in the UK are also being significantly effected, with 40 per cent of French services being removed on Wednesday and Thursday.
