Gardaí are investigating a fire at a cash machine at a bank on Main Street in Celbridge overnight.

Gardaí and members of the fire brigade attended the scene at 4.20am and the fire, which was confined to the ATM, was extinguished.

There are no indications as to how the fire started. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
