Special mention went to Mugdha Karmarkar for his subtle picture and nicely composed image of a Killarney sheep farmer with his dogs. This is the third year of the awards which are organised by the Irish Environmental Network, an umbrella organisation representing 33 National environmental NGOs. The competition, which was open to all amateur photographers, was funded by the National Parks and Wildlife Service.
