Man in 20s dies in North following two vehicle collision

A cyclist in his 40s has died in hospital after he was hit by a car in Limerick on Wednesday.

A Garda spokesman said the incident occurred at Kilmurray Road roundabout in Castletroy at 2pm. The driver of the car was not injured.

The man died in hospital yesterday.

Six people have died on the State’s roads since January 1st.

Separately a man in his 20s died following a two vehicle collision in Co Antrim this morning.

Diversions were in place on the McKinstry Road, Dunmurry following the incident as the PSNI investigated.
