Commuters faced delays on the Red Line Luas service this evening after smoke was spotted near one of the trams.
Luas tweeted later this evening: “Service restored on the full Red Line with delays. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
A Luas spokeswoman earlier said a technical fault was to blame for the delay.
The Red Line had been left running from Tallaght and Saggart to the Smithfield stop.
