Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was knocked down and killed on the City West Road at Brownsbarn Roundabout in Saggart in Dublin yesterday evening.

The incident happened at about 5.20pm. The cyclist, a man in his late 30s, was knocked to the ground and brought to Tallaght Hospital where he later died. The road was closed for a time to facilitate a forensic collision examination.
