Rent prices in Dublin have increased by 8.8 per cent in the past year, according to the lates quarterly report from property website Daft.ie.

Rents have risen across the State and are now more expensive in Dublin than during that peak of the property bubble.

The latest quarterly report from property website Daft.ie revealed rent prices in the capital increased by and average of 8.8 per cent in the past year.

Our graphic, based on the figures from the Daft report, provides a breakdown of rent prices in the different neighbourhoods of Dublin, showing the current average cost of rent by house-type and the percentage increase since last year.

Residents in Dublin 10, 11, 15, 17, 22 and 24 can expect to pay less than €1,000 a month for a one-bed property but residents everywhere else can expect to pay between €1,000 and €1,500. Tenants in a three-bed property in Dublin 17, meanwhile, will pay on average €1,290 a month while residents in in Dublin 4 will pay €2,066 for the same type of property.
