Gardaí in Waterford are investigating the death of a man in his 60s.

The 66-year old man’s remains were found yesterday evening at about 7pm in a house on Connolly Place in Waterford city.

“It’s a sudden death and we’re investigating the circumstances,” a garda spokesman said this morning.

Although it is still too early to confirm, it is not believed the death is suspicious.
