Luas Red Line services return to normal after Rialto incident

Luas Red Line services have returned to normal after early morning disruptions following an incident in Rialto on Monday night.

A man was struck by a Luas at Suir Road, Dublin 8, according to gardaí.

The man was taken to St James’s Hospital to be treated for serious injuries.

Red Line tram services were earlier operating between Blackhorse and The Point due to an overnight incident.

Luas tickets were accepted on Dublin Bus for the duration of the disruption.

Garda enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
