A 26-year-old man charged with the murder of a mother and her daughter in Co Kerry earlier this year was today further remanded in custody for a fortnight after a court was told that the book of evidence is not yet ready for service.
Aurimas Andruska with an address at Ardmoniel Heights, Killorglin, Co Kerry is charged with the murders of 27-year-old Jolanta Lubiene and her eight-year- old daughter Enrika at their home at Langford Downs, Killorglin on June 15th .
Mr Andruska made his tenth appearance on the charges today when he appeared at Cork District Court where his solicitor, Michael O'Donnell again re-iterated that his client was fast approaching six months in custody on remand.
Insp John Deasy told Judge Leo Malone that it was a very significant case and that he believed it would be December at the earliest that the book of evidence would be ready and he applied for a month's remand.
Judge Malone remanded Mr Andruska with consent to a fortnight’s remand to appear again by video link in court on November 20th.
