A man in his 50s has died following a farm accident in Co Clare.
The incident happened on Tuesday night at around 7pm at a farm in Labasheeda.
It is understood the man was offloading slurry from a trailer when the trailer rolled backwards, knocking him into a slurry pit.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) said it has an inspector on site today while gardaí are also investigating.
