A woman in her twenties was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital last night after being hit by a car in south Dublin.

A woman in her twenties was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital last night after being hit by a car in south Dublin.

The incident took place outside Blackrock garda station on the Rock Road just after 8pm.

The woman’s condition was said to be very serious last night.

The female driver of the car was also taken from the scene to hospital to be treated for her injuries which are not thought to be life threatening.
