A pedestrian has been killed after an accident in Co Leitrim.
The 40-year-old man was struck by a teleporter at about 1.05pm this afternoon at Rantogue, Aughacashel.
He was taken by by helicopter to Sligo General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the teleporter was uninjured. The accident happened while the transporter was loading and unloading bales onto a trailer.

The road is closed to facilitate a forensic collision examination and diversions are in place.
