Hurling supporters have been sending The Irish Times their favourite posters from around the highways and byways of Kilkenny and Tipperary.
Most are funny, all are confident (no matter which side of the border they are positioned).
One, though, is particularly pointed.

Just outside Urlingford, near enemy lines is a sign that simply states: “Tipperary 6 in 49 years. Cats 6 in 9 years. History Speaks.”
It’s a dig, and a good one.
It shows just how dominant the Cats have been in recent years – and how Tipperary have continuously disappeared from view each time they’ve flexed their muscles. It is the 1960s since Tipperary won more than one All-Ireland senior hurling title in a single decade.
Tipp do beat Kilkenny in the song writing department, however.
The Cats never really went for the big county songs about their hurling superiority.
It’s no “Dancing at the Crossroads”, but this one, about King Henry Shefflin, is one of the better songs.
For Kilkenny to prevail, they’ll surely need Shefflin, erm, shuffling at some stage at Croke Park this Sunday.
