Road re-opens after traffic delays on N11 near Jack White’s

Emergency services were at the scene on Monday morning after a truck carrying cattle overturned on the N11 in Wicklow.

The crash happened at Scratnagh Cross at about 6.35am.

AA Roadwatch said there were traffic delays and that a stop-go system was in place between Jack White's pub and the new roundabout to facilitate the removal of the truck.

The road has since reopened.

A Garda spokesman said the driver of the truck was taken to St Colmcille’s Hospital in Loughlinstown as a precautionary measure but that no serious injuries were sustained in the single-vehicle crash.
