Two men and a woman arrested after drugs worth €1.6m seized

Significant quantities of heroin, cocaine and cannabis herb found in a car and a house in Dublin

Two men and a woman have been arrested after heroin, cocaine and cannabis herb worth more than €1.6 million were seized from a vehicle on Conyingham Road, Islandbridge in Dublin and a house in the Ballyfermot area.

Two men and a woman have been arrested after heroin, cocaine and cannabis herb worth more than €1.6 million were seized from a vehicle on Conyingham Road, Islandbridge in Dublin and a house in the Ballyfermot area.

The vehicle was intercepted on Saturday and a 45-year-old man arrested at the scene.

In a follow up search at a house in Ballyfermot, more drugs were discovered. A man (24) and a woman (21) were arrested.

All three are being held under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice ( Drug Trafficking ) Act, 1996 at Lucan and Finglas Garda stations.
