Two men in their 20s have died following seperate crashes in counties Limerick and Donegal.
In Limerick, a man was fatally injured when he was struck by a van in the early hours of Monday.
The incident occured at about 3.30am at Blossomhill, on the N21 Croagh to Rathkeale Road. The two occupants of the van - a man and a woman, both in their 20s - were uninjured in the crash.
The road is expected to remain closed until Monday afternoon while a Garda forensic team examines the scene.

Seperately, a 21-year-old man died when the car he was travelling in hit a bollard in Donegal on Sunday evening.
The collision occured at 11.30pm at Carnashannagh, on the Buncrana to Burnfoot road. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car (18) and another male passenger (21) were brought to Letterkenny General Hospital where their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The road is currently closed in order to facilitate a technical examination of the scene.

On Sunday, Orla Curry (20), Martin Brophy (20) and Angela Kelly (35) died when the car they were travelling in hit a roadside sign when they were on their way home from a 21st birthday party.
