A woman was taken to hospital in a critical condition following a serious road traffic collision in Sligo on Monday.
Gardaí said a serious road traffic collision involving a lorry, car and a van occurred about 3:45pm on Monday on the N15 at Grange, Co Sligo.
The female driver of the car was taken to Sligo University Hospital in a critical condition, according to a Garda statement. No injuries to other persons were reported.
The road was to remain closed overnight and forensic collision investigators were examining the scene, the statement said. Local diversions were in place.

Gardaíhave appealed for any witnesses to this collision to contact them.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dashcam) and were travelling on the N15 at Grange between 3:30pm and 4pm are asked to make this footage available to the Garda.
