South African Archbishop emeritus Dr Desmond Tutu will today raise his concerns over Ireland's failure to meet UN aid targets with Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Conor Lenihan.
The meeting is the last appointment on Dr Tutu's five-day visit to Ireland.
The Nobel Peace Prize winner has described as "cynical" the Government's abandonment of a promise to reach the UN aid target of 0.7 of GNP by 2007, saying the Government should not hide behind "clever little arguments".
