The Irish eventing team will again be the first in action on day three of the Games with the competition now moving to the Beas River venue for the cross country section.

Lagging behind in 10th position, the team require a dramatic reversal of fortunes to have a chance of claiming a medal.

Tim Goodbody continues his campaign in sailing's Finn class while Ger Owens and Philip Lawton begin their quest in the 470 class.

The state-of-the-art Shunyi Park slalom course will see canoeist Eoin Rheinisch battle with the rapids, the first of his two runs scheduled to start shortly after 9am Irish time.
