Olympics - Irish timetable: Andrew Bree's Irish record-breaking performance will see him line up in the men's 200 metres breaststroke semi-finals in the early hours of tomorrow morning.

Bree, the first Irish swimmer to reach the semi-finals since Michelle Smith in 1996, is in action at the Olympic Park's Water Cube shortly before 4am Irish time.

On a busy day for the sailors, three Irish crews are in action at Qingdao where Ger Owens and Philip Lawton will be hoping for a better day if they are to regain a place in the all-important top 10.

With Paddy Barnes having received a bye straight into the second round, there will be no Irish boxers in action at the Workers' Gymnasium tomorrow. Team captain Kenny Egan and light welterweight John Joe Joyce resume their campaigns on Thursday.

Both rowing crews will take to the water over the next two days. The heavyweight four's outstanding performance at the weekend sees them contest the semi-final tomorrow morning with the lightweight crew reaching the same stage 24 hours later.
