MICHELLE SADLIER:Social media manager for luxury online retailer net-a-porter.com, Sadlier, from Templeogue, Dublin, moved to London six years ago after a time working with Louise Kennedy.
In London she joined Bryan Morel PR and afterwards Storyful, the news website founded by Mark Little, where she became interested in social media.
That led to a period of global freelancing and advising on social media for various companies including Karla Otto, the luxury PR company, “but it was always my dream to work with net-a-porter”, she says. Her role is very strategic and valued and she works closely with both the marketing and editorial teams. Net-a-porter has just hit 250,000 followers on Instagram and increased its audience by 500 per cent since last year.
She lives in north London, commuting daily to the company’s London HQ in Westfield.

After graduation she worked as assistant menswear designer with Christopher Raeburn, the British designer known for his detailed ethical collections, where she stayed for two years. In June she moved to NRG UK in King’s Cross, a design and production company bridging the gap between design, buying and manufacturing set up in 2010 by two industry heads from a design and production background.
“We help young designers to see how the commercial world operates and we supply a number of high street brands like Urban Outfitters, ASOS and some of the Arcadia group,” she says. “I am learning a lot from my boss Nigel Glasgow who has 25 years of experience . . . Every day is a challenge.”
