The Government should say whether it favours including a ban on genetic weapons in a report to be considered shortly by the EU Council of Ministers, according to the Green MEP, Ms Nuala Ahern. "We are calling on the Government to declare its position and stop acting like a lap-dog for the biotechnology industry."
