Magners League round-up:Leinster will play Munster in the semi-finals of the Magners League after a thrilling win over Edinburgh this evening. The 37-28 result, secured during a breathtaking endgame at the RDS, put Leinster back on top of the table and guaranteed home advantage in the knockout stages.
Defending champions Munster scraped into the play-offs, going down 13-12 in Cardiff but booking their place by virtue of the losing bonus point.
Next Saturday’s match will take place at the RDS with a potential switch to the roomier environs of Croke Park ruled out.
After last weekend’s bitter disappointment in the south of France, Leinster bounced back in devastating fashion but were pushed every inch of the way by an Edinburgh side chasing fourth place themselves.
The sides scored four tries apiece, with Leinster snatching victory from the jaws of defeat with two tries in the last three minutes.
