Derval O'Rourke, Alistair Cragg and David Gillick are among an Irish team of 29 for next month's European Championships in Gothenburg.
O'Rourke, who picked up the Irish 100 metres title at Santry yesterday and recently broke the national record with a time of 12.92 seconds, will be targetting a place on the podium while Cragg and Gillick can also harbour realistic hopes in the 5,000 metres and 400 metres.
Joanne Cuddihy is also named in the team in the wake of her wins in the 200 and 400 metres at the National track and field championships.
