Warren Gatland has named the squad to take part in the Limerick training sessions ahead of Ireland’s upcoming international against Romania.

The 28-strong squad will train at the in Limerick on May 21st and 22nd, after which the squad will be whittled down to the 22 who will travel to Bucharest for the Match on June 2nd.

Ireland’s six Lions representatives, who kick off the tour of Australia in Perth on June 8th, have not been considered for selection.

The IRFU also announced the squad selected for the summer training camp in Poland. Forty players have been picked for the intensive training camp from June 24th to July 12th.

The camp in Spala is designed to help maintain the team’s fitness ahead of the rescheduled Six Nations fixtures against England, Scotland and Wales in the Autumn.
