Ever wonder what happens when Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg “likes” something?
Irish website entertainment.ie was left scratching its head this week when a routine article on singer Lenny Kravitz went viral, resulting in an unprecedented spike in traffic.
The article, posted along with dozens of news and entertainment articles, contained a video of Kravitz joining a street choir for an impromptu jam.
The source of the traffic spike was eventually traced to Zuckerberg.
"It seems Zuckerberg stumbled upon our article online and one click of the 'like' button later, our website was exploding," a spokesman for the website said.
"That one click changed the page from having a total of 5 'likes' to its current status of 14,000 likes."
