The Tanaiste, Mary Harney, is on her way to Japan today to take the Taoiseach's place at the head of a 60-strong Enterprise Ireland delegation because he was suddenly needed in the North. Engagements in the US meant she missed the Emerald Ball in Tokyo last night but otherwise she is following his agenda except for one daily item.
