Contracts worth $26 million were concluded by six Irish companies during Enterprise Ireland's largest ever trade mission to Japan, the Tánaiste Ms Harney announced today.
Speaking in Tokyo at the final briefing of the six day mission, Ms Harney said the deals secured on the visit were clear evidence that Asia and Japan in particular holds out major opportunities for Irish companies with a strong focus on growing sales in the region.
Ms Harney said 64 Irish companies took part in the mission from the telecoms, software and engineering sectors.
