A former drummer with British heavy metal band Judas Priest was jailed for eight years today for trying to rape a teenage boy he had been giving drum lessons.
David Holland, 55, was convicted last month of attempted rape and five counts of indecent assault on the 17-year-old at Holland's Northamptonshire home in the English midlands where he had been teaching the boy.
Holland played with Judas Priest from 1979 to 1989, recording heavy metal anthems such as "Living After Midnight" and "Breaking The Law".
