The High Court has reserved judgment on an action for damages against a Co Meath builder over alleged non-payment of fees to a financial consultant and engineer.
Mr James Robert Farrell, a builder of Rockfield Road, Kells, Co Meath and his company, Farrell Homes (Kells) Development Ltd have been sued by Mr Roderick Brennan, a financial consultant of Ashbourne, Co Meath and Mr Ronald Bergin, an engineer, of Taney Road, Dundrum, Dublin.
Both plaintiffs are seeking damages for financial and planning services which they claim to have provided to Mr Farrell from 1991 to 1997.
Mr Farrell has denied the allegations.
