Brazilian midfielder Juninho is set to return for a second spell with Middlesbrough agreeing a four-year deal with the English Premiership club today.
A statement on the club's website confirmed the deal which is subject to the World Cup winner passing a medical and obtaining a work permit from the United Kingdom's Department of Employment.
Middlesbrough have been locked in talks with the 29-year-old after agreeing a Stg£6 million ($9.3 million) fee with his Spanish club Athletico Madrid earlier this month.
And following protracted negotiations Middlesbrough finally reached an agreement with Juninho who played for the north east club between 1995 and 1997. - AFP
