The trial of a Dublin man accused of the murder of a neigh bour in 1995 was adjourned at the Central Criminal Court yesterday. Mr David Dunne (24) of Coultry Road, Ballymun, denied the murder of Mr Patrick Higgins (50) of Coultry Grove, on November 13th, 1995.

Mr Justice Carney told the jury that as a result of legal discussions, he was adjourning the trial and discharging them from hearing it further. He was granting the adjournment "with very great reluctance" because both prosecution and defence counsel had acquiesced to it. A new trial date for Mr Dunne is expected to be fixed on January 28th.
