Dusty Sheehy declared sole Cheltenham entry Justified to be on top of his game as he continues to prepare for a probable tilt at the Irish Independent Arkle.
The seven-year-old, who was third to Missed That in the Irish equivalent of the Arkle at Leopardstown last month, missed an intended engagement at Navan last weekend.
However, Sheehy expressed his delight at Justified’s well-being and will send him to Prestbury Park without a prep run.
"We couldn’t be any happier as he’s showing all the right vibes again," said the Kilkenny handler.
"He’ll go straight to Cheltenham now.
"There is an old saying that you need a fresh horse to win at Cheltenham and that has always been at the back of my mind.
"So we will give him a piece of work away from home, possibly at Leopardstown, beforehand," Sheehy told the Racing Post.
