Manchester United skipper Roy Keane is ready to start his first game since March 30th after his surprise return in the Champions League draw against Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday.

Keane steps back at Ipswich tomorrow as United build up for next week's semi-final second leg against the Germans.

The Republic of Ireland captain was expected to miss the rest of the season after tearing a hamstring on April 2nd but declared himself fit last weekend and played the closing minutes of the European first leg on Wednesday.

With Gary Neville ruled out with a broken bone in his foot, his place at right back will go to younger brother Phil or veteran Denis Irwin.

Keane is likely to take over from Juan Sebastian Veron, who will be rested because of his troublesome Achilles heel injury. There is also a chance Uruguayan striker Diego Forlan could be involved.
