Middlesbrough’s Republic of Ireland international, Keith O'Neill, has played his last game for the club and has agreed terms with Coventry City. The clubs are reported to have agreed a fee of Stg£1 million.

The winger, signed by ‘Boro from Norwich in March 1999, will move from the Riverside as new manager Steve McClaren continues his bid to sign Manchester United midfielders Jonathan Greening and Mark Wilson.

The 25-year-old was in the Highfield Road stands for Coventry’s friendly win over Ghent at the weekend and is currently completing his medical. The deal is expected to be finalised later today.

Arsenal youngster Graham Barrett is said to be a target for Queens Park Rangers. QPR manager Ian Holloway wants the 19-year-old striker to bolster his attacking options as the Londoners seek to bounce back from relegation to Division Two.

Barrett has been at Arsenal since 1997, holds an FA Youth Cup winners medal and made his senior debut in December.
