BeoCare, a new start-up that produces high value medical products, it to create 48 new jobs at its facility in Killarney, Co Kerry over the next two years.

The new company has received support from Enterprise Ireland and has products for orthopedic care, incontinence, wound and skin care and surgical support.

BeoCare will have a significant research and development facility in Kerry and will be seeking graduate-level staff.

Making the announcement, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Micheál Martin, said: "I am very pleased to announce the establishment of BeoCare in Co. Kerry. Significantly, 10 of the 48 new jobs to be created will be directly involved in Research and Development activities. This investment in market led research and development will help BeoCare anticipate and respond to the needs of its international customers and deliver innovative products".
