Rescue teams have found the body of a man believed to be English climber who went missing in the Macgillicuddy Reeks mountains in Co Kerry.
The body was found on the eastern slopes of Carrauntoohill at around 10.30am.
Kerry Mountain Rescue are expected to bring the body down the mountain by around 3pm and a post mortem will be carried out in Tralee General Hospital later today.
The man, who is understood to be an experienced climber in his twenties, was last seen on Tuesday morning near Carrauntoohill. He was due at relatives in Waterford last night and they raised the alarm when he failed to appear.
He had stayed in a hostel in Killarney on Monday night. His car was found on the western side of Carrauntoohill, near Coomloughra at the foot of the mountain.
Weather conditions over the past few days have been very poor, a spokesman for Kerry Mountain Rescue said.
