The back injury suffered by Daniel Bohane over the weekend may force Pat O'Shea and his Kerry management team into a rethink as they delayed naming a starting fifteen for Sunday's clash with Cork in Croke Park.

Kerry were due to select their starting line-up tonight but will now wait until tomorrow.

Selectors had been expected to make a change in their troubled full back line with Daniel Bohane and Tommy Griffin vying for Padraig Reidy shirt.

However a back injury picked up by Bohane over the weekend has probably cost him a starting spot while it is felt that Griffin may well be needed to help in the middle of the park. That would rule out his inclusion in the full back line where he has never played.

O'Shea may decide to go with the same starting fifteen as Kerry attempt to maintain their perfect record against Cork at Croke Park.

If the team goes unchanged O'Shea and his selectors risk a backlash from supporters if they fail to change the full back line and lose. For that reason Griffin could still feature somewhere in defence.

The only other likely change is in attack with back in form Eoin Brosnan getting the nod ahead of Donnacha Walsh. That said Brosnan came in against Galway and did well as an impact sub and may be asked to play the same role.
