Crews have been working to restore power after another round of violent tornadoes in the US Midwest.
Meanwhile some of the heaviest rainfall in more than a century has swamped southern states with flooding.
In the Oklahoma City area, the tornadoes demolished 300 homes and injured at least 104 people, five critically.
Since last Sunday, tornado-packed storms have killed at least 42 people across the Midwest and Plains - 18 in Missouri, 15 in Tennessee, seven in Kansas and two in Illinois.

A twister near Oklahoma City struck just as the afternoon rush hour was beginning yesterday.
About 50 police officers have been patrolling the damaged area of Moore, south of Oklahoma City to prevent looting.
