Korean In Kyung Kim moved to the top of the leaderboard at the AIB Ladies Irish Open at Killeen Castle after shooting a sparkling six-under-par 66 to move to nine under.
It gives the world number 10 a one-shot lead on nine under going into the final round on a day of low scoring at the Meath venue.
Sweden’s Linda Wessberg and Norway’s Marianne Skarpnord also fired rounds of 66 to move to eight under alongside world number nine Anna Nordqvist, the Swede shooting a 67 today.
The blue and yellow domination of the leaderboard continued as Pernilla Lindberg also carded a 66 to go fifth on her own at seven under, while Sophie Gustafson and first-round leader Maria Hjorth are a shot further back after rounds of 68 and 71 respectively.
Rebecca Coakley leads the Irish challenge, although a level-par 72 today leaves her eight shots off the lead on one under.
All three of Ireland’s amateur players have made it through to the final round, with 15-year-old Leona Maguire completing a second level-par round that mixed two birdies and two bogeys.
Twin sister Lisa had a more of a rollercoaster round, getting to two under after birdies at the first and second, her 10th and 11th, before suffering four bogeys in her last seven holes for a 74 that leaves her on two under.
Despite suffering two double-bogeys today, Danielle McVeigh made the cut on three over after a 73 that also included four birdies and an eagle at the par-five 15th.
Martin Gillen crashed out after a 78 left her on eight over, while Hazel Kavanagh, Tara Delaney and Claire Coughlan-Ryan all finished towards the back of the field.
