London - Pop impresario Mr Jonathan King was remanded on bail when he appeared in court yesterday accused of sexually abusing three boys in the 1970s.
Mr King (55) faces charges of buggery of a boy under 16, indecently assaulting a male, and attempting to bugger a male under 21. The offences are alleged to have taken place between December 27th, 1970, and December 26th, 1971.
The charges, which Mr King has publicly rejected as absurd, relate to three men who were boys at the time of the alleged offences.
Mr King discovered the rock band Genesis, having become famous at the age of 21 when his hit single Everyone's Gone To The Moon made him a millionaire.
