Longford Town recorded their second win of the season tonight with a 1-0 victory over Derry City at Flancare Park.
Alan Kirby gave the homeside a deserved victory when he finished off a well worked move on 66 minutes.
Longford were not content to rest on their laurels and were cruelly denied a second goal when Keith O’Connor’s strike came back off the post in the second period.
