E-commerce website lastminute.comhas signed a major content and e-commerce agreement with Internet portal Yahoo! UK and Ireland.
Yahoo.co.uk is to offer a range of co-branded "special deals" on flights, hotels and holidays from lastminute.com, the Internet retailer launched in a blaze of publicity in 1998, lastminute said in a statement.
Users will also be able to personalise their Yahoo! homepage and receive news on lastminute.com offers and deals, lastminute said.
"Lastminute.com chief executive Mr Brent Hoberman said: "As a leading online portal, Yahoo! UK and Ireland is an ideal complementary distribution platform for lastminute.com travel and entertainment products."
