Tipperary 1-17 Limerick 1-08
Offaly 2-21 Derry 1-6
Tipperary routed neighbours Limerick in the National Hurling League Division One B this afternoon, running out nine point winners thanks to the sharp shooting of Lar Corbett and Eoin Kelly.
The corner forwards grabbed the lions share of their side's 1-17 total as Tipperary moved two points clear at the top of the table with two wins from their first two outings.
In this afternoon's other One B encounter, Offaly got off the mark despite the absence of their Birr contingent.
In truth, it was just as well for Derry that Offally were under-strength as the Ulster county were thrashed 2-21 to 1-6 and remain rooted to the bottom of the table.
Kevin Kelly and Damien Murray scored the home side's goals as the visitors folded in the harsh conditions.
