Judge Miriam Malone had adjourned the case against Mr Donal Storey (48) of Marino Green, Dublin, last week to await the presentation of all the images seized from Mr Storey before deciding on whether to refer the trial to another court.

After seeing the remaining three images today, Judge Malone decided to retain jurisdiction over the case.

Mr Storey, a lecturer at the Dublin Institute of Technology, is charged with possessing 12 pornographic images of children on his computer on May 27th 2002.
