Boxing: Andy Lee continued his promising start to life in the professional ranks with a first round knock-out of James Morrow in Chicago last night.
Lee, who has been working with the legendary Emanuel Steward in Detroit's Kronk gym, proved far too strong for Morrow, stopping him towards the end of the round after the American had already survived the count earlier in the contest.
Steward now hopes to announce the Limerick man's next opponent later this month.
John Duddy, meanwhile, will face Uruguay's Noe Tulio Gonzalez Alcoba at the National Stadium on October 20th. The Derryman had been due to take on Pablo Navascues but the Spaniard was forced to withdraw due to an ankle injury.
