There will be an 8.00 inspection tomorrow morning at Leopardstown to see if Sunday's scheduled meeting can go ahead. The track is currently unraceable after the recent heavy rain.
"The track is very soggy and I wouldn't like to hazard a guess about what is going to happen. A lot will depend on Thursday which is forecast to be dry. If that is correct it will improve our chances. The weekend is due to be showery. Our objective is to race if at all possible," said Leopardstown's racing manager Tom Burke.
The Listed Heritage Stakes is the feature on Sunday's card which comes just two weeks before the prestigious Derrinstown Derby Trial fixture.
